Welcome to Coppin Film Screening

Coppin State University, in collaboration with Maryland Public Television (MPT) and MECCA Filmworks, is proud to present the Welcome to Coppin film screening for MPT's HBCU Week Now on Friday, Sept. 5 at 6:00 p.m. held in the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium. This short documentary captures the heart of Coppin’s mission and community impact. Through intimate interviews and campus footage, the film explores President Anthony L. Jenkins’ personal journey, Coppin’s post-pandemic transformation, and a glimpse of the university's programs.

This screening is a reflection of Coppin’s legacy and its role as a beacon in Baltimore and beyond. Attendees will witness stories of resilience, innovation, and pride that defines the Coppin experience.
